What is CTA certification?

The State shall implement a network access permit system for telecommunication terminal equipment, radio communication equipment and telecommunication equipment involving inter network exchange used for access to the public telecommunication network. Telecommunication equipment must obtain a network access license; those who do not obtain a network access license shall not be allowed to access the public telecommunication network for use and sale in China.

Telecommunication equipment access certificate

The State shall implement a network access license system for the telecommunication terminal equipment, radio communication equipment and telecommunication equipment related to interconnection between networks used for access to the public telecommunication network. The telecommunication equipment implementing the network access license system must obtain the network access license issued by the Ministry of information industry; without the network access license, it is not allowed to access the public telecommunication network for use and sale in China. Access license certificate includes certificate number, applicant, manufacturer, equipment name, equipment model, place of origin, remarks, certificate issuing date and certificate Limited Date. The network access license is generally valid for 3 years.
