Introduction of Brazil Anatel certification
Brazil Anatel is a certification for telecommunication products by Brazil national telecommunication regulatory authority, which is divided into two types: compulsory certification and voluntary certification. Its approval process is the same for products in Brazil and abroad. If the product requires compulsory certification, the test results and reports of the product must be consistent with the rules and regulations adopted by Anatel. The product must obtain the authorization certificate issued by Anatel before being put into sale.

Anatel certification process

4. After receiving the advance payment, we will send engineers to carry out factory related training and product test evaluation. Develop certification procedures and methods for the product.
5. Because the certificate / authorized holder (importer, manufacturer) must be confirmed by Brazilian law; collect the supporting documents including business license, etc.
6. The manual, installation guide and warning signs must be in Portuguese for preliminary review and confirmation.
7. The Engineer shall carry out necessary review on relevant factory system and review the product related form test report.
8. Your company shall provide test samples as required, and we will arrange the test.
9. After the product passes the test, Anatel will usually send personnel to carry out factory audit, if there is no problem. Generally, the relevant Anatel certificate can be obtained within one month.
10. Guide the production of product identification plate, such as: the plate shall contain the following information: Anatel mark certification number (barcode); manufacturer's name; manufacturing year; model; serial number; distributor's registration number, etc.
11. After the Anatel certificate is filed in Brazil, the certification authority will conduct necessary monitoring on the certified product, production and quality system performance (parameters), and may appoint engineers to conduct regular and irregular factory audits. But at most once a year.
Anatel certification requirements
All products in the list published by Anatel need to be certified;
1. The authorized holder (importer, manufacturer) must be confirmed by Brazilian law;
2. The * of type I is valid before cancellation, and the * of other two types is valid for two years;
3. The instruction manual, installation guide and warning sign must be in Portuguese. Other documents can be in English;
4. The product must have a signboard, which shall contain the information required.
