In 2015, the National Standardization Committee issued gb31241-2014 safety requirements for lithium ion batteries and battery packs for portable electronic products. The battery testing and certification standard is a mandatory standard for the safety of lithium ion batteries in China, which has been officially implemented since August 1, 2015.
