Introduction to PSB certification in Singapore
PSB certification is a compulsory safety certification in Singapore, but there is no requirement for electromagnetic compatibility. PSB safety mark certificate is issued by Singapore Product Standards Bureau. The registration scheme of Singapore consumer protection (Safety Specification) requires that the listed electrical products must apply for PSB certification. Before the products enter Singapore, the bank number of the company with tax status in Singapore must be the holder of PSB application. Products can only be sold in Singapore after obtaining PSB certificate.

PSB certification features
1. The holder of the certificate is the bank number of the local company in Singapore, without factory inspection and annual fee;
2. Certificate validity period: three years;
3. If there is plug in the product, ss246 test certification report shall be provided;
4. There is no "series" application for product certification (each certificate can only cover a single model).
PSB certification data preparation
1. Security test
? CB certificate and test report valid for three years (English only)
? all reports issued by PSB
? reports from independent laboratories recognized by the Singapore laboratory filing system

? application letter PSB (only accept single model instead of series model, do not pay attention to similar features)
? if safety parts are different from CB test report, they must be listed again
? wiring diagram and parts material list (BOM)
? architecture / engineering drawing and parts list (gas units only)
? English manual? Original label or color photo or clearly visible black and white photo (black and white photocopies are not acceptable)
? three copies of color appearance (nameplate sticker voltage specification main plug, etc.) and internal (important safety parts) photo documents
3. Other information
? name, address and contact details of importer or agent in Singapore
PSB certification process
1、 Application of the enterprise: it should be submitted 3 months before the formal audit. The enterprise needs to fill in the PSB certification application form, the pre evaluation list of ISO / TS16949:2002, and submit the required documents according to the latter, and propose the time for acceptance of the audit;
2、 Quotation;
3、 Signing the contract; PSB may suggest the enterprise to conduct preliminary review one month before the formal review (the cost is 20-30% of the formal review), and the enterprise is free to choose whether to conduct preliminary review or not;
4、 Document review: review the application materials and documents submitted by the enterprise;
5、 On site audit;
6、 Take corrective / preventive measures for nonconformities in site audit;
7、 Issue certificate: generally, the enterprise can obtain the certificate within 1-1.5 months after the completion of rectification.
