Introduction to WPC certification in India

The radio planning and Coordination Bureau of India issues the form approval certificate of radio equipment imported and sold to the Indian market on behalf of the India communications agency. The export of wireless products to India requires WPC certification (wireless Planning & coordination wing).

WPC certification application requirements in India

1. Find out the forecast in mainland China, so as to avoid the high cost of remeasurement and rectification in India (the cost will be sent separately);

2. Looking for the consulting service agency of the Indian authority, or sending the test by the client in India;

3. Appoint a local representative to support the company's products in India;

4. Submit information to Indian authorities, fill in certification service application form and other relevant information;

5. Choose a mobile phone test lab, a battery test lab and a charger test lab. (must be a local laboratory in India authorized by the National Telecommunication Bureau of India)

6. Test complete. The laboratory submits the test report to the National Telecommunication Bureau of India, which will issue the certificate of conformity;

7. Prepare barcode label: prepare barcode label of products according to regulations of telecommunication bureau, which can be operated online;

8. Prepare the internal and external photos of the prototype, and prepare the photos with labels;

9. Provide translated user manual (manual must be specified in battery and charger model);

10. Provide translated technical manuals.
