Brief introduction of CEC energy efficiency test
CEC is the abbreviation of California Energy Committee of the United States. Its responsibility is to make the energy market develop in the direction of benign competition. The California appliance efficiency regulation, which was implemented by the organization since 1976, is the only mandatory energy-saving regulation in the United States that can affect non-governmental consumption behavior, and plays an important role in reducing energy consumption.
According to the regulation, electrical products must first meet the equipment energy efficiency regulations when they are sold in California, the regulation specifies the energy efficiency index requirements, measurement methods and phased implementation plans for 58 types of electrical products. According to the regulations, electrical products must be tested by qualified laboratories according to the corresponding regulations or standards of the United States, and can be sold in California only after they are proved to meet the requirements.

The 58 kinds of products sold in California need CEC product energy efficiency certification, mainly for home appliances, power supplies, lamps (ballasts or energy-saving lamps). CEC energy efficiency certification is required for sales of 58 kinds of electronic and electrical products in California, USA. the regulation is divided into energy efficiency index requirements, measurement methods and phased implementation plan.

CEC certification data preparation
(a) Product Name: provide the full name of the product;
(b) Product model: list all product models, varieties or classification numbers that need to be tested in detail;
(c) Intended use of the product: for example: home, office, factory, coal mine, ship, etc;
(d) Parts list: detail the parts, model (classification number), rating and manufacturer's name of the products. For insulating materials, please provide the name of raw materials.
(e) Electrical performance: for electronic and electrical products, provide electrical schematic diagram (circuit diagram) and electrical performance table;
(f) Structure chart: for most products, the structure chart or explosion chart, ingredient list, etc. of products shall be provided;
(g) Product photos, instructions, safety and other items or installation instructions.
