What is SASO certification?
SASO is the official abbreviation of Saudi Standards Bureau. The so-called SASO certification is actually a certification document to prove that the batch of products meets Saudi requirements; a document to cooperate with Saudi importers in customs clearance.
SASO process
SASO certification is divided into two steps:
Step 1: data review:
1. RFC application form;
2. Manufacturer / factory system certificate;
3. Effective product test report;
4. Final invoice or proforma invoice;
5. Packing list;
6. Power of attorney (if required);
Step 2: on site inspection, the main approved items are as follows:
A. visual inspection of the surface quality of goods;
B quantity (product quantity, outsourcing box quantity);
C Packaging (product self packaging, product outsourcing);
D identification (product's own brand identification);
E. shipping mark (information of outsourcing box shipping mark);
F voltage (Saudi Arabia voltage 220V or 380V);
G frequency (Saudi frequency 60Hz);
H power
I place of origin (manufacturer or importer, made in China);
